THE WASHI TAPE

This Blue and Gold Skull Washi Tape is an exciting step into the world of patterns and stationery for me. I love the color of the gold foil against the deep teal-blue; it’s becoming one of my favorite combinations.

You may have noticed that skulls are featured prominently in my work. I love to use them as a device to talk about the self laid bare, without any of the social constructs or ego traps that we often bring to our identity. I also love to incorporate this crescent moon on the forehead as a nod to transition and change being a constant practice.

And aside from personal meaning, I just think that skulls and skull art are cool.
